Privacy notice.

Version 2026-10-draft. This draft explains how the private Sortd test site is intended to handle information. It needs legal review before launch.

Information collected

Account sign-up asks for your name, email address and a South African mobile number. Using Sortd may also involve property and job details, photos, quotes and pro application information. The test site is for fake information only.

How it is used

Sortd uses account details to provide sign-in and verification, and job information to help match work with eligible pros, prepare quotes and track progress. Optional marketing consent is separate from account consent.

Sharing

Pros can see job information needed to quote, including the suburb. A customer's street address and contact details are intended to be shared only with the pro whose quote is accepted. Providers used for sign-in, email and messaging may process the information needed to deliver those services.

Security and retention

Sortd uses access controls and other safeguards for account and job information. Retention periods and the full list of service providers will be detailed in the final notice. The private preview is not a place to store real personal information.

Your choices

You can choose whether to receive optional marketing. The final notice will explain how to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information and how to raise a privacy concern.

Draft status

This notice is incomplete and will be reviewed before launch. See the Terms of service for the current test site outline.
